GenShift® Facilitator Program
Train the Trainer for Multigenerational Teams
Your people, leading the generational conversation.
The GenShift® Facilitator Program trains your internal team to deliver generational intelligence workshops on your schedule, in your language, for your workforce.
THE PROBLEM
Most generational training happens once. A speaker comes in, the room is engaged, people leave with a few good lines. A month later, not much has changed.
That's not a content problem. It's an ownership problem. When the only person who can teach it is an outside consultant, the work stops the day the consultant leaves.

Why Katherine
HOW IT WORKS
Three phases, run by your own facilitators.
Before.Participants complete a short self-paced course covering the generational landscape and how each generation was shaped. They arrive with shared language instead of starting cold.
During. Your facilitators lead a live workshop built around realistic workplace scenarios. Participants practice the Curiosity Practice, GenShift's core tool for working through generational friction in the moment.
After. Reinforcement activities keep the conversation going with teams, so the workshop becomes a habit rather than an event.
Dr. Katherine Jeffery is a generational strategist whose research on workplace generational dynamics has been delivered to organizations across fifteen countries. The GenShift course has won Telly and Vega awards and carries SHRM and HRCI credit. She is a multi-year Vistage Top Performer.
The language your facilitators will use
Generational Intelligence (GQ) is the ability to recognize how the era someone grew up in shapes the way they communicate, build trust, and define good work.
The Three C's are Care, Curiosity, and Collaboration, the three practices that make cross-generational teams work.
The Curiosity Practice is a three-step tool: Notice what's happening, Pause before reacting, Ask a real question. It's what facilitators teach participants to do in the moment friction shows up.
Who this is for
Learning and development teams, HR leaders, and organizations with distributed, global, or multi-site workforces. It fits best where the same training needs to reach many teams without losing consistency.
FAQ
What is a train the trainer program?
A train the trainer program prepares internal staff to deliver a course themselves, rather than relying on an outside facilitator each time. It's how organizations scale training without scaling cost.
Do our facilitators need prior training experience?
No. The guide is written so that someone comfortable leading a team meeting can run the session. Prior facilitation experience helps but isn't required.
How long is the facilitator training?
Typically a half day, delivered live and virtually or in person.
How long is the workshop our facilitators will run?
About two hours, adjustable to your schedule.
Can this run globally?
Yes. The material is built to translate across cultures rather than assume a single national context.
How is this different from booking a keynote?
A keynote reaches a room once. This puts the material in your own leaders' hands so they can reach every team, repeatedly.
